We were able to sleep in an hour or so more than usual
today, as we finished up our R&R time.
We had a wonderful breakfast (as usual), and started packing. It was sad to leave Hector and Ruth, they are
one-in-a-Billion people! It was also
very sad to leave Guatemala, I’ve made so many good memories here and have been
stretched, grown and exposed in so many positive ways. Even though I felt this way (as many others
did too), we stuck to the plan and headed off for Honduras. The plane was smaller (I think it had about
48 seats) with huge propellers on either side, but they plane was only half
full: out of that full have, our team was at least half of the people. Once in Honduras we found the Ruttan’s and
piled into their vehicles and went to their house. We are fortunate and blessed to have the luxury
that we have on this trip! Praise God!!
Then we ate supper, had an orientation time, and the rest of the night
was a chill time. It was a very simple
day.
Our Luxury accommodations that we left behind in Guatemala.
The Puddle Jumper we flew in from Guatemala to Honduras.
