Twenty20

I got to serve in Ushering during both services Sunday morning.  It was better than the last time, but I am still thankful that I only have to do it for a month.

After church Daniel had to go check on someones house (since they are away), and then we went home to get a pair of ice skates.  We then went to Ariel Bondy's house to Skate.  There were a handful of people there, and I stood around watching most of the time. Between Daniel and I, we only had one pair of skates that was somewhat big.  Daniel went first, and I went second. It was my second time ever skating, and it was a lot of fun.  Though I have to say it seemed to nearly kill my feat.  My shoe size is 14-16 (depending of the shoe), but Daniel's skates were size 11.  It took a bit to get my feet in them, and they created lots of pain from all sides once my feet were in them.

After skating we went to Twenty20 (the college age group).  I was serving in Graphics Shadowing - though I basically did all the Graphics (very little shadowing).  It was actually a lot of fun.  Bryce and Heidi ran the night since Bryan is away in Switzerland at the YWAM base there.  It was pretty cool how they made it all so interesting for Valentines Day.  The night was themed relationships, and they used emojis and stuff compared to their New Zealand Middle Earth Mountains hiking trip to talk about relationships.  They also did some sing-alongs with some fun songs, and a fun game.  A number of people got up and talked, it was very 'student involved.'

  2. Graphics are the slides that go up on the projector: Worship songs (each slide for each song); notes; pictures; videos; songs; etc...

Shadowing is when you basically follow the person around and watch what they do. You are just "Shadowing" the person to learn about the task and how it's done.
