Hillsong: Let Hope Rise

I just watched Hillsong: Let Hope Rise (movie). It's an awesome thing! It's a whole new genre, a theater version of a Worship Experience! And I have to say WOW! Multiple times while watching it, I thought, "I would rate this movie a 10 out of a 10." And so I will, I give Hillsong: Let Hope Rise a 10 out of 10 as far as movie ratings. ----> I don't believe that I have given a movie a ten before. the Lord of the Rings' and The Hobbit's were 9's or 9.5's, but I don't think I've given a movie a ten before! God is Glorified all throughout this movie!

Prayer Requests

1. Depth - As we take our days moment by moment, pray that we may be intentional about our relationships with God; that we may actively pursue a deep, rich, relationship with our heavenly Dad.

2. Stillness. Silence. - I am beginning to learn that busyness and noise are two great factors in our lives that shape and mold our ability to have quality depth with others - particularly God. Please pray that the Church at large, and more specifically us as individuals, can learn to elimiate hurry and have the patience, heart, and self-discipline to be silent and still, alone with our Creator, allowing Him to shape and mold us as He desires.

3. Self Discipline - The caboose of the fruits of the Spirit, as listed in the New Testament, is self control, or self discipline. This is an aspect - a trait even - that our world lacks, and it drives many, especially in the Church, astray, leading us closer to our own wants rather than Gods. Please pray that God would develop in us humility and openness that He may work freely; Please pray that we may be submitted to God in all things, that His Spirit may have free reign in us, and through His Spirit in us, we may produce the fruit that this world seems staved of: self discipline.

4. Boldness - Please pray that God would grant us, as His chosen people, great boldness in His Spirit, courage to step beyond our feel-good comforts to do the work and care that He has created us for. I like my comforts, and I don't like easing past them too often. But God has bigger and greater and more truly AWESOME plans far beyond them. Pray that we would have the boldness to walk with our eyes on Him - not our feet; to run with our heart and thoughts fixated on Him - not our surroundings, not what it feels like or looks like; that we would have the courage to love as Christ loved, that we may live in complete freedom to love freely - without partiality or condition.
