Smokey Mountains Family Vacation April 2021

As some of you many know, our family took a family vacation to the Smokey Mountains recently, centered around spreading part of my mom's ashes in the Mountains (she wanted either Mountains or Ocean; we are hoping to do both).   The seven of us, my dad, us four kids, Mikayla (Jonathan's wife) and Alex (Abi's boyfriend) booked a cabin near Pigeon Forge, TN.  Our Cabin was nestled way up near the top of a foothill of the mountains sitting in the midst of many trees.   Though there were many cabins in that area, the trees were thick enough you couldn't really see any near-by cabins from our windows, and we were far enough back up the hill that we had very little traffic drive by.  It was beautiful.

Alex, being a photographer by trade, also brought along his drone and snapped a few photos for us.  This picture is of our cabin, way up in the mountains.  Both the main floor and the basement had a wrap-around deck.  The top deck included a screened in eating area as well as a grill.  The bottom deck was well equipped with a hot top.  Both had rocking chairs and faced a beautiful north view of the rolling foot hills and lands far beyond.

These next three photos are more drone shots that Alex captured of the surrounding area of our cabin.  He flew the drone much further out and up than our cabin's limited view and snapped these beautiful images of the land we rested in for the five and half days were vacationed here.
